JKS X-Oversize / $4750 Base
The JKS X is the version of the JKS road bike that is built for a larger and/or more powerful rider who wants the ultimate in a performance steel race bike. The JKS X uses ‘XL’ sized main tubes (1/8” larger in diameter than the oversized tubes used in the other versions) to make the bike stiffer in torsion and give a super stiff platform to put power down. The JKS X is also the bike of choice for those ‘spring classics’ type rides involving bad pavement, cobblestones, and mixed smooth dirt and pavement rides – nothing pushes ahead on the rough stuff like the JKS X. This version is available with a sloped or level top tube and both traditional straight or optional curved Terraplane seat stays.
