Ready to Ride

rtr2All David Kirk frames can be purchased as part of a complete Ready-To-Ride bike or as framesets to be assembled by the owner.

Ready-To-Ride bikes can be built up component groups from Shimano, Campagnolo and Sram and are tailored to fit the needs of the rider and the desired budget. I will happily help you pick the proper sizing of key fit components such as stem length, bar width and crank length. All bikes are assembled, tested and packed by me to insure that the bike comes put of the box functioning perfectly and ready to ride.

If you know every detail of what you want that’s fine…if however you would like my assistance in picking your parts I will be happy to assist you in choosing the best components for you based on your needs and my many years of experience.

rtr1The process is simple…we talk about what will work best for you and I will generate a complete parts list and quote you a price for the entire package. I will order the parts and have them on hand when your frameset comes back to me from paint and then the bike will be assembled, tested, boxed, and shipped. When you receive the bike you will only need to install the bars into the stem and slip the seatpost into the frame (using the marks provided to get the proper position), install the pedals and check the air in the tires and you will be ready to go on your first ride.

Purchasing a Ready-To-Ride bike is the simplest and easiest way to be sure all the parts are right, the fit is right and that the bike is working just as it should so that you can start putting miles on right away. I welcome your questions about Ready-To-Ride and look forward to you first ride report.
