Matte.

This JK Special is headed to Texas as we speak with a brand new Campy Record 11 hung on it. It has Fulcrum Racing 1 wheels and a 3T cockpit. I love the way it came out and wanted to share it here. What do you think?

Stay well,

Dave

    Hi Dave,

Good looking bike and great build but I see they put the primer on but forgot to paint it! Just kidding!

I think this matte finish is really nice looking. I’m curious how this finish cleans up?

Kind of like a ‘rat rod’ hot rod car eh?

    Hey there,

It cleans up very well but you can’t just hose it off and be done with it. For regular dirt/mud you can use the hose and a soft brush and it cleans right up. For grease you can use a bit of Simple Green on a rag and wipe it and it looks like new.

My personal cross bike is matte and I ride it in all conditions and like to keep it clean and it’s no problem.

    Thanks for the comment.

    Dave,

Do customers get to choose FFF or not? Was this built before you went to them 100%?

    Beautiful bike.

    Thanks,

    Hey Tony,

Yes this frame was put together before I had the Triple F in production. From now on everything gets the Triple F.

    Thanks for writing,

Not only do I like the matte finish but that bike is proportionally perfect to my eye…..stunning.
