JKS X for Di2.
This frame is a full race bike headed to Florida once I get it done and built up with Shimano Di2. I assembled the front end today and got most of it cleaned up and will finish it up and add the rear end on Monday.
Some fun work to look forward to over the weekend.
I have my last local autocross event this weekend with only one more after this one in Helena. It’s hard to believe that the season is winding down as the weather is very July like and not at all like fall. Anyway – wish me luck.

I love what you did with the extra braze-ons to add stress relief for where the tubes will be drilled for the electrical cable entrance/exit points.
Usually for routing cables inside the frame, a tube is used internally. For DuraAce/Ultegra Di2, is this not the case? Does the internal wiring slap around?
Hello – thanks for the question.
The wires of Di2 just run on the inside of the frame tube and there is no other internal guide tube. Shimano has designed a very cleaver and simple way to keep the wires from rattling on the insides of the frame tubes. The have what amounts to zip ties around the wire and they leave a longish tail from the zip tie sticking out and it acts as a spring that keeps the wire pressed against the inner wall of the frame tube. I have to admit I was skeptical when I first saw it but it works perfectly and is dead simple. Good stuff.
Dave,
Good luck at the Autocross event. Say hi to my friend Jeff, who races a white RX7 and finishes consistently strong.
Love the frame. I’ve heard the latest DA, as seen at interbike, is the bomb.
