La Bella Luna.
As most of you will have heard there was a total lunar eclipse last night here in North America. We stayed up late last night to watch it happen and take a few photos. It was very cold but super clear so it was easy to shoot. The photos came out OK but could have been better had I been more patient and warmer. I went to bed at about 1:00 am as the total eclipse was happening. I thought I may get up again, put on some clothes and go out and shoot it again but bed was warm, it was about 8° outside and I fell fast asleep.
Karin took the final shot this morning right before the moon set and the sun rose.
Beautiful stuff.

Cool photos Dave! We got shut out of the show due to cloud cover which is a shock given that we live in sunny central NY… You owe Karin a nice dinner:)
Great pictures – thanks for posting, it was overcast here in Tulsa and about 15 degrees warmer.
